Saint Augustine, FL Hi! My name is Laura Jackson and I've been struggling with my weight almost my whole life. I've tried just about everything out there, but even if I see short-term improvements in my weight, I haven't found anything that will continually (and steadily and healthily) take the weight off and keep it off. I've struggled with my weight almost my whole life. When I hit 200 lbs, that was when I realized that I had to do something. I tried various plans, but ended up gaining weight, putting me at my all-time high of 205 lbs in 2005. Since then I've gained and lost weight, but was down to 175 lbs last May (thanks to P90X, RevAbs, Brazil Butt Lift and running) when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. :-) My daughter, Aliyah, was born January 31, 2011 and I couldn't be happier! Unfortunately, now I am back where I started again (weight-wise). But I am not letting that get me down! I joined Stroller Strides to meet some other mommas and take Aliyah with me to work out, and I'm starting 10 Minute Trainer (since 10 minutes is about as long as Aliyah naps at a time!). I am using the Meal Planner to make it quick and easy to know what's for dinner (and breakfast and lunch!) and to be able to print out my grocery list for the week. I know I can lose the baby weight, and MORE, because Beachbody provides me with the tools I need to reach my goals!
