I'm 27 and a middle school teacher. I just had my second child, and I don't want to become that statistic that claims I will gain five pounds for every child I have. I was reasonably fit before pregnancy, but now the 25 pounds I put on feel simply disgusting. I want my body back! I also hope that the positive examples of fitness and eating well that my husband and I are modeling

When I was growing up, I was always the chubby kid; I remember wearing my mother's clothes when I was 12. In college, I decided I'd had enough and joined Weight Watchers. I'm 5'9", and my standard weight went from 180 to 150 lbs! I was pretty happy with my new shape, and maintained that weight through healthy eating and running; I love 5 and 10k's, and I did one marathon. Then...marriage (add five pounds) followed by pregnancy. During pregnancy, I gained 50 pounds! When I got home from the hospital, none of my clothes would even go over my new, wide rear end. I weighed in at 205 pounds, and was appalled to have to buy a pair of size 18 blue jeans. I vowed that this would be temporary and would never happen again. After jumping back into Weight Watchers, I reached my pre-pregnancy weight and kept the weight off. I just gave birth to my second child, and this time I only gained 25 pounds during my pregnancy. However, all of it seems to hover around my middle, meaning that I FEEL really fat. I'm jumping into P90X because I want a more intense workout than I got from Weight Watchers, and I'm ready to get back into shape!
