Check out my coach page! beachbodycoach.com/lionfire I can help you accomplish your fitness goals! Last year I lost 100lbs using Power 90 and Shakeology. I am now well into P90X! I was recently selected to meet Tony Horton at the Super Saturday here in Dallas last September 18th for my transformation story. Check out my YouTube channel via the link above.
Some info about me, my name is Matt. I am a native of Virginia. I lived there for 29 years before moving to Texas 3 years ago. Although I resided in VA my whole life. I have lived in a lot of places. I lived in Australia for 6 months, I was in Florida for 15 months going to flight school in Vero Beach. I've been to South Korea 5 times for 1 to 2 week stretches. I've driven across the country and have flown to a ton of places, too many to list. I'm out of work at the moment, which is kind of nice. I'm able to stay home with my daughter and also focus on working out and getting in shape/healthy. Some of my interests include Building/Working on Cars, Aviation, Computers, Guitar, Skateboarding and of course exercise.

Basically I've been overweight/obese my entire life. I lost some weight by calorie counting, I went from 295 down to 265. But I stopped the food journal and calorie counting, confident that I could maintain my eating habits. Wrong. I gained it back, slowly it took almost 2 years but I was up to 311lbs. I saw some pictures of myself from when I was goofing around at work, didn't look good at all.
Then, I stumbled across this absolute lunatic. I'm talking crazy, highly motivating, super understandable, amazingly insightful guy. Tony Horton. I read up on him, read up on his programs. For the first time in my entire life, I got it. I actually understood the confusing world of exercise and nutrition. It all made sense. I saw P90X and just was floored at how well Tony walked you through it, how motivating he was. But at 6'5" and 311lbs with nearly ZERO cardiovascular strength, there was no way. So there it was, Power 90. Of course! However I didn’t feel ready for that either, so I searched for a way to drop some weight before I started. I read up on Shakeology and based on the testimony videos of several people I decided to try it. That was one of the best decisions I’ve made during this whole process. Shakeology allowed me to get my nutrition straight, I had a ton more energy and it boosted my metabolism. I was able to go from 311lbs down to 265lbs just eating right, hitting my target calories and using Shakeology. I had done the other two things without Shakeology but now I was able to be consistent at it, a lot of the reason was due to my cravings for junk being reduced because of Shakeology. Amazing stuff! So then, once I was down to 265lbs, I started my first round of Power 90, starting with I-II. It was hard. It was really tough. But damn did it feel good, it felt right and Tony was extremely motivating, informative and made it really fun. So after 90 Days using Power 90 and Shakeology to get my nutrition right, I went from 265lbs with NO MUSCLE, I'm talking none. To 217lbs and muscle definition, that I've never had in my ENTIRE life.
CURRENT: I completed this round of P90X and I am 189lbs with some serious muscle, especially in my arms and legs. I am about to do a week of One on Ones, then I am starting Insanity on January 24th. I really hope I can get down into the 170’s with a flatter stomach, maybe even some Abs. Then after that I am going to do a mass building round of P90X! BRING IT!
