I am 34 years old, enjoy staying busy and love the outdoors!
I have a very supportive husband and 4 energetic kids ages 8 to 2. I live in
the midwest where it is winter 5-6 months of the year. I grew up in California
where it was spring, summer and fall 12 months of the year. My favorite

I have a very supportive husband and 4 energetic kids ages 8 to 2. I live in
the midwest where it is winter 5-6 months of the year. I grew up in California
where it was spring, summer and fall 12 months of the year. My favorite
season is fall--I absolutely LOVE the color changes! I was a teacher (part-
time) for 8 years and am now a home/kid worker/player. I have been able to
stay home for 2 years now and hope to for another 2 or 3. I "stay home" with
my 2 and 4 1/2 year old, work and do therapy with my 5 1/2 year old when
he gets home from school, and try to keep my 8 year old's schedule in check.
I actually did the Slim in 6 program and took the Activit Multivitamins after
having my 3rd child 4 1/2 years ago. I really enjoyed the program, vitamins
and results I had. I have always struggled with my weight, especially after
having children. About 3 years ago, I allowed life challenges to get the best
of me and gained 44 pounds! After my dr appt 4 weeks ago, I found out I
have high cholesterol and a low vitamin d absorption (osteoporosis runs in
my family) and was told to change my diet and take a good multivitamin (plus
extra vit d). Activit came to my mind so I went on the beach body site. I
decided I'd check out the workouts and saw the Ten Minute Trainer. I decided
then and there that I was ready to lose this weight for myself! I am so ready
to be healthy, feel stronger, and be more energized to enjoy time with my
husband and
rowdy kids!! I also want to be a healthy example to my kids as my mom was
to me and my brothers. I actually enjoy exercise--I know, a little strange--
but have a terrible time with eating healthy--I love food but hate preparing it!
I have joined Wowy and have begun logging in my workouts and am looking
forward to the community support message boards for accountability with
the healthy eating piece. God has blessed me with an awesome family! I love
them, I love life, and I want to live it to the fullest!
