Denver, CO My name is Lora and I currently live in Lakewood, Colorado. I work for the National Park Service and have moved around quite a bit...Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Hawaii and now Colorado for the last three years. I have always loved the outdoors and enjoy a wide range of activities...hiking, running, cycling, camping, and snowshoeing to name a few. While I have always been lucky enough to stay fairly thin, I did not consider myself particularly fit or strong before joining this program. So I joined a gym and started out slowly, just hitting the More ...
While I have always been lucky enough to stay fairly thin, I did not consider myself particularly fit or strong before joining this program. So I joined a gym and started out slowly, just hitting the gym two or three times a week to stay in shape. Then I started noticing that the more I worked out, the better I felt…which, in turn, made me want to work out more. But then I felt that I had fallen into too much of a routine and had hit a plateau in my fitness level. This was about the same time that I started hearing about P90X. I had no idea what it was but started doing some research. And it sounded like exactly what I needed….something to get me out of my routine, push my limits, and increase my fitness level. Even just a few into P90X I could tell I was becoming fitter and stronger. My 30 day results showed I lost almost 5 inches from my waist alone!
But some of the best outcomes of this program have nothing to do with physical results at all...the boost in self-confidence, increased energy levels and reduction of stress. This has helped me become a better person..inside and out! And now, as a coach, I want to help others meet and exceed their fitness goals.
