My folks say I was born small ( 5 lbs.) but have been on a diet since I was 2 weeks old. I have always been the big guy, you know the one....."your not fat, you are just a big boned guy". I managed to stay active through sports in High School and College, then I ended my football career with a knee injury. I forgot to stop eating like I was still active and balooned up to about 290 in a hurry. I My folks say I was born small ( 5 lbs.) but have been on a diet since I was 2 weeks old. I forgot to stop eating like I was still active and balooned up to about 290 in a hurry. I have stayed in that range for the last 17 years. My goals here with Team Beachbody are to reach and maintain a healthy way of life, and to be an example of that to my family and those around me. I joined Team Beachbody to be a part of the revolution and break the cycle of big being acceptable for me. I started once before and quit after three weeks because I did not get plugged in to all the tools available. I am here to tell you that I am "IN" now. If you read this, drop me a line and ask how I am doing.....hold me accountable. I will do the same for you. As an old buddy of mine used to scream during football games " LET"S GET SOME". I want what those guys on the workouts have, so come with me and let's get some!

My name is Larry Richards. I am a 36 year old man that is tired of being fat! I have always played sports,(football, baseball, basketball, track) and was fortunate enough to play some football in college. After my sports career was done I completely blew up from a playing weight of 230-240 to a slim 290lbs. Long story short, I have floated anywhere from 260-285 with the occasional crash diet accomplishment of 245. I have been a gym rat in my past, and love going and working out. I seem to always allow my ego to take over and try to lift heavy and end up quitting due to the pain brought on to my out of shape body. I got P90 and let it collect dust for a long time until I was surfing on the Beach Body site and saw Harleyguy1. I knew him when we were kids. I contacted him and it made a difference. A real live person I know that had success on this program. We swapped emails and I dusted of the video, slapped it in, and pushed play for my first workout on Monday the 23rd of July 2007. *******Fast forward to February 10th 2009********* Ok, so here we go....I quit Power 90 and gave up like many before me. Now I am back on track, better than ever. I started back with Power 90, and was seeing incredible progress, I decided to step on up to P90X. I am just a day away from my 30 day pics and measurements, and I am pumped. I did a solid 22 days of Power 90 and have been into P90X for almost a week now. It has been an awesome journey. I feel great and am pushing play every single day. One measurement that I know already is my blood pressure. It was 140/105 and when I went to the Dr. last week, I was at 110/70....I asked him to repeat it several times as I jumped for joy! WOOHHHOOO!!! I am getting healthier and have changed my life. Now I want to change those around me and the lives of anyone I come in contact with, so I became a Coach for Team Beachbody!!
