Hi Everyone,

I am 33 years old and making the biggest change of my life. I love to sing (opera and arias) and have been a classical pianist since the age of 8 and one half. I played sports most of my life and was active in the military for one term. I work in Information Technology but have dreams of being a professional musician. I try to walk around with a smile on my face no matter what the circumstances.

I lost my fiance and best friend of 7 years 9 months ago. That was really a whopper to me and has sucked out the life of me up until very recently where I have decided to completely change my life.

I have spent my whole life helping people and trying to make their lives better only to finally realize after all these years "who is there for me"? I realized that it is time to give to myself for once in my life and go after my dreams and goals.

I had let my body go and lost all self worth and confidence (break-ups have a really bad way of doing this to people). I have always been such a positive person and try to give everything I have for people. Lately though I have lost my love for life and my mind is filled with doubts, fears and loss of ambition and focus.

After being crippled for so long and with the economy in the shape it is and nothing but negativity in almost every aspect of my life I decided it was time to get off the depression bandwagon and go after my own dreams full force. I knew that the first thing that had to happen was for me to get back into shape for both mental and physical reasons.

So wish me luck and join me as I change my life. I am very excited and ready for this. It is long over due. If anyone ever needs someone to talk to or a friend, let me know. That is something I am very good at.

Transformation story

I have always been a smiling, happy and positive person. However I have been depressed from the loss of my fiance and best friend of 7 years. I lost all self esteem, confidence and mostly my love and trust for people.

I am not only here to change my body into a fitness machine, but regain my love, joys and passion for life and rekindle my trust for people. All of which I know can only be found within me.

Join me and root for me as I change my life and go for my dreams. Would love to hear any encouraging words people have, and if anyone needs any I am here for you!

Now it's time to bring it! Progress photos to come during the first 90 cycle of P90X! I started on June 15th 2009 and let's see what it can do for me in the next 90 days!
