Fitchburg, WI I'm a survivor of open heart surgery. Knowing my health risks with my heart, I've always been fairly active going to the gym and playing sports growing up, but after a bad break-up over a year ago, I stopped doing anything considered "active" or even "healthy". After gaining 30 lbs and feeling embarrassed to be seen in public, I ran across a TV ad for Turbo Jam and I'm a survivor of open heart surgery. Knowing my health risks with my heart, I've always been fairly active going to the gym and playing sports growing up, but after a bad break-up over a year ago, I stopped doing anything considered "active" or even "healthy". After gaining 30 lbs and feeling embarrassed to be seen in public, I ran across a TV ad for Turbo Jam and decided to give BeachBody a try almost a year ago. Given the results I saw, I decided this was the route to go for a healthy lifestyle and opted to kick my cardio up a notch with TurboFire. My goal is to train hard enough for a duathalon, then perhaps a triathalon, and then maybe even a half marathon (who knows--we'll see). I'm looking for a team of workout buddies to join me in living a fit and healthy lifestyle.

After a bad breakup, I was sitting at home one lazy Sunday afternoon feeling sorry for myself. I was unhappy with my life where it was--had given up working out, was gaining weight, and was eating tons of comfort food. I've always struggled with my weight fluctuating, but this was out of control. When an ad came on the TV for TuboJam, it just kind of clicked. I knew exactly what I needed to do. Since TurboJam, I've done ChaLEAN Extreme, lost 20 lbs (to stand up in my friend's wedding) and am currently working on Turbo Fire. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan of the Beachbody programs and was excited to actually wear a bikini this year. The results have been amazing, and the programs keep challenging me so I can hit my goal weight and target fitness level.
It's not just about fitness. It's about accomplishment.
