Transformation story

I started my BeachBody journey in January of 2007, one year after I had gotten

I started my BeachBody journey in January of 2007, one year after I had gotten
married. The following paragraph is what I wrote to BeachBody when I had
just purchased my first exercise program but I hadn’t received it in the mail
yet.



I’m 29 years old. I've been gaining at least 10 lbs every year since college,
and now I'm nearly 200 lbs. I'm 5'7", and I was a size 2 in high school before I
developed and a size 4 when I started college. I was an athlete all through my
school years, but when I stopped being an athlete after college, that was
when the pounds started piling on, a little more, every year. I took diet pills
last year so I could fit into a size 14 wedding dress, the last size before you
hit plus sizes at that particular bridal shop. I fit into it, but once I got off the
pills I gained it all back and then some. I was embarrassed at my engagement
photos; I asked my mother to please not put them in the paper. I thought
that people wouldn't say, "Oh great, she's getting married," they would say,
"Woah, she's gotten fat." I hate seeing myself in photos. I'm always deleting
them in our digital camera, even though my husband says I look beautiful.
He tries to make screensavers out of our wedding pictures, and I don't allow
him to put certain ones up, because I look fat in them. 3 years ago I weighed
165. 2 years ago I weighed 175. 1 year ago I weighed 190. Today I weigh
195. I know I need to exercise, but I just don't know how to keep myself
motivated, because I never seem to lose any weight, even if I exercise over 5
times a week. I do what everyone says I should do, a mix of cardio and
weights, but the weight doesn't EVER come off. It only increases. I eat as
healthy as I can, without starving myself. I don't know what to do anymore. I
need as much coaching and support as I can get. I am so frustrated. I feel like
I am the only one. Can anyone help me?


That's how I felt before starting Power90.


Well, I've been doing Power90 for 30 days now. I
have two pairs of jeans that I bought one size bigger than I am, because
before Power90, I thought it was hopeless to think I wouldn't gain even more
weight over the years. Now, those big jeans are baggy around my hips,
buttocks, and legs; I can't wear them without a belt because they fall down!
And the clothes that are my size fit better than ever! Places that used to bulge
out (stomach, hips, upper back)are much flatter, and get flatter every day. I'm
also watching what I eat. My goal is to go down 2 sizes by the end of this
Power90 round, and finally fit back into the clothes I've grown out of. I've got
at least 35 pounds to lose, and I'm going to work and get advice and help
until I do it. Thanks Power90, and Million Dollar Body members, for helping
me to keep pushing play!


Now, it's day 100. I am a whopping 14 pounds lighter. I've also lost 14 inches
from my entire body. It may not seem like much compared to the rest of the
results here on milliondollarbody, but for me, it is amazing. I've never been
able to lose weight before without the help of diet pills or unhealthy diet
plans. And now I can fit into my old jeans, and they look good! I did Power 90
consistently, and now I am doing Turbo Jam. I just finished the 10-day jump
start yesterday, losing 4 lbs and 8.75 inches in just 10 days. I have gone from
having and "overfat" bodyfat percentage to an "average" bodyfat percentage. I
am so excited to finally have found programs that do what they say they will
do! I plan to continue with Turbo Jam, exercising 6 days a week, until I reach
my goal of losing 30-35 pounds. I love it! Until the next update...


Well, I've lost 20 lbs. now, 15 more to go! See ya then!


I've lost 25 pounds now, and getting ready to start P90X! Can't wait! 10
pounds until my goal, but I suspect that when I really get into the X I will lose
even more! I'll keep you posted!


Well, I've reached my goal and surpassed it; my goal weight, that is. I am a
size 10 now, and my goal from the beginning was to be a size 8. I thought
when I lost 35 pounds I would be there, but not quite. I can fit into some size
8 clothes, but I wouldn't call myself a "true" size 8. I did just purchase a
Victoria's Secret bikini that my husband absolutely loves, and I can't wait to
show it off at the beach this summer! I am continuing with P90X at this point.
I have finished one round of Lean Series, and I am now in week 6 of Classic
Series. I will be "Bringin' It!" for probably the rest of my life, it works so well.

Well, after several rounds of P90X and one of P90X+, I'm ready to try something different. I've started Chalean Extreme, and I LOVE it. It's been a month now, and I can't believe that I look forward to each and every workout!! I've already seen tremendous results in just 30 days! My newest jeans are already getting loose, and my arms, legs, and abs are getting SUPER CUT! I recommend this series to anyone! It's working wonders for me.

I'm also using Shakeology, it is AWESOME! I get all my fruits and vegetables and proteins and multivitamins and cleansing needs all in one drink! It tastes great, and it's so easy. Everyone should try it.

I'll keep you posted for my latest results, I have a feeling after 90 days I may need a new wardrobe! Until then...
