My Chalean Extreme Weight Loss Story!
I’d worked out off and on for years, but always went through cyclical periods of exercise –start then stop, start then stop. Last year, I’d finally reached a point where I was the heaviest I’d ever been at 5’4” and 169 lbs. And all my clothes were fitting too tight. I’d get frustrated getting ready for work trying to find pants that fit.
One day I got fed up and decided enough was enough! I pulled out my fitness DVDs, started working out 5 days a week and joined a fitness message board for motivation, support and accountability. A few weeks later, I cleaned up my diet by cutting out junk food and sweets and started eating lean protein, whole wheat complex carbs, healthy fats, and fruits and veggies. The weight started falling off immediately and once I cleaned up my diet, I felt so much more energized and healthy. I wanted more! I found a 9 week bootcamp (on my exercise message board) that I could do at home with fitness DVDs that included 3 days of strength training and 3 days of cardio. I finished the bootcamp and saw some great results but my journey wasn’t over. I wanted lean, sexy muscles, flat defined abs and to reduce my body fat %. So it was on to Chalean Extreme, an advanced circuit training program by Beachbody.
All I can say is WOW! After the first 30 days on the program, my body completely transformed right before my eyes! I continued to lose 1-2 pounds a week and started seeing the lean sexy muscle and ab definition I’d always dreamed of.
People started telling me I looked great and asked me what I’d done to get my results. I found myself sharing my story repeatedly, telling them how to eat clean and to try Chalean Extreme and Turbo Jam. Once day I realized, hey I’m sharing my story and helping people get fit, so why not turn this into a business? I signed up to be a Beachbody Coach immediately. It ain’t McDonalds, but I’m loving it! It’s truly one of the best decisions I ever made.
I finished Chalean Extreme on May 1st which is the same day I became certified to teach TurboKick! Beachbody and Chalean Extreme have totally changed my life. I’m 40 years old and in the BEST shape of my life and never dreamed I’d be a fitness instructor. But here I am, 32 lbs lighter, from a size 12 to a size 6 (a 4 in some clothes) and feeling (and looking) fabulous!
