My name is Jeremy Yost. After years of self pity and excuses, I have “brought it” for 16+ months and have loved every minute. At the beginning of 2009, I had reached 370 lbs and been prescribed blood pressure medicine. I am sure that I was about to leave my wife and 3 children without a father. I have struggled with my weight my entire life and have had isolated, but no lasting success with running. After ankle arthritis (from a severe, old football break) had caught up to me, I was unable to run and that’s when the weight really started to pile on. Honestly and sadly to say, I had given up. After some true friends helped me see what I was doing to myself and my family, I decided to change. The same friends had been using P90X and were hooked. At my size and fitness level, you can imagine how much I struggled with a program like P90X but I just kept listening to Tony, “Do your best and forget the rest.” Quickly, I progressed and have been rocking ever since. To date, I have lost 180 lbs. My goal is to lose 5 more lbs...50% of my starting weight.
