Hello,
My name is Mary Catherine (you can call me 'MC' :) and I am happily married with an 12yr old son.
I never had problems with my weight when I was younger. I hit 30 years old (the apparent "magic" age for many women) and that all changed.
I had NEVER done a day of exercise in my life. I decided that I had to start moving and eating better if I wanted to lose the weight

I spent most of my life at a healthy weight and never had to worry about my diet or the fact I hated exercise and never did any.
However, once I hit 30 (the apparent "magic" number for many women), it changed.
I started gaining steadily and realized I had to do something or else it would get out of hand.

I didn't have much to lose in reality (compared to some). I wanted to lose 12lb. That seems easy, but when you are beyond SHORT (I am 4'9" :), it really shows and seems to take a bit longer.

I started doing Turbo Jam and eating healthier and I saw progress.
I set a monthly goal for myself as to how many minutes of exercise I will do, and I count calories.

Since doing this, I have met my goal weight and have been successfully maintaining (even lost an extra 2.5lb!) since May 2007.

Turbo Jam and a healthy diet are a way of life for me now!

Update:
I have fallen off the wagon for a bit, so to speak, so I am starting again.
October 2009 is my "new beginning".
The difference is that this time, I KNOW I can do it because I did it before. NO excuses.

I am still going strong and have been doing ChaLEAN Extreme for a month now and my arms look FABULOUS if I might say so myself :)
I am also a Beachbody Coach now, so I am eager to share my love of the programs and my desire to become not only physically, but financially fit with others.
