I am naturally a hard worker. Since I was in high school I have always had at least one job and sometimes up to 3 jobs, because I knew that if I wanted something badly enough I was going to have to work to get it, no one was going to hand me anything. As I examine myself today I'm proud of my achievements with my career but I must admit I have ignored other parts of me to get here.

On November 9th I weighed in at a whopping 167lbs. The heaviest I had been in 10 years. I had just discovered that I was pregnant (only 5 weeks along) I was happy and scared at the same time. The More ...
On November 9th I weighed in at a whopping 167lbs. The heaviest I had been in 10 years. I had just discovered that I was pregnant (only 5 weeks along) I was happy and scared at the same time. The happiness was because my dreams were coming true but the fear was that at such a heavy weight I was going to have a more difficult pregnancy, a harder time getting the weight off after the baby and everybody wants to give their baby as many opportunities as they can for health and success. Me being overweight was not a good thing.
A week later I miscarried (another challenge with being overweight). We were saddened by this at first until my finace and I decided to take this chance we have to get into the best shape of our lives before we get pregnant again. This is it. I want to lose 27 lbs in the next 6 months, be halfway there (at least) by my 31st birthday in March and look great at my wedding in the fall of 2010. I can't wait to get pregnant after I hit my goal. And I can't wait to tach my children the joys of being healthy.

I have been doing P90x for 2 weeks now. THe first week was really hard, I have been pretty soar everyday. I did not look forward to getting up and doing another workout. But the second week I had a much easier time with the moves. I got thru 90% of all the workouts next week it will be 100%.

I have more energy already and I am starting to really look forward to each workout.
Whoo-hoo let the ride begin.
