I turned 45 in January 2011 and will soon be married for 28 wonderful years. After leaving the US Postal Service in March 2001, I became a SAHM and homeschooled our children for 6 years (ds-18, dd-17).

I was a cheerleader and in drill team while in high school. When I moved to TX (from AL and FL), I thought I was fat, because people in TX were sooooo skinny. I was actually a size 7-9 at 135#s.

I bought Power 90 in September 2004 after probably a year of watching the infomercials. Then I decided to buy SI6 and the Slim Series off of eBay. Now I have P90X/XPlus and Turbo Jam. How crazy am I More ...
I bought Power 90 in September 2004 after probably a year of watching the infomercials. Then I decided to buy SI6 and the Slim Series off of eBay. Now I have P90X/XPlus and Turbo Jam. How crazy am I to have all of that & not start working out until May 2011 with the P90X. Look at how much time I've wasted!

Now I've decided to make the commitment to enjoy my life and family. My children are even doing the program with me. We also have a punching bag, jump rope, Lifecycle, Stairmaster, weight sets, and Bowflex. We have many TaeBo and Susan Powter tapes, too, but I will be putting alot of my effort into the P90X tapes for now.

I'm an advanced brown belt in ITF TaeKwonDo. I was a Program Coordinator and assistant instructor at the dojo for 2 years, before realizing that I rarely got to workout after starting to work there. I've not lost any weight in that time, so I've decided to remember my first goal of taking care of ME. I actually pulled my calf muscle in June 2008 when testing for my 1st Dan black belt. P90X will help me get ready to get back into TaeKwonDo and for completing my black belt test. I can't wait!
