Tupelo, MS UPDATE: June 2011. i am finishing up insanity/asylum. it has lived up to it's name again! it is absolutely perfect for athletes, former athletes and wanna-bes! i am none of those but i wouldn't mind looking like one or getting paid like one! i just returned from BB Coach Summit in LA. it was an amazing time where i got the opportunity to workout with all the celebrity trainers UPDATE: June 2011. i am finishing up insanity/asylum. it has lived up to it's name again! it is absolutely perfect for athletes, former athletes and wanna-bes! i am none of those but i wouldn't mind looking like one or getting paid like one! i just returned from BB Coach Summit in LA. it was an amazing time where i got the opportunity to workout with all the celebrity trainers including tony horton, shaun t and chalene johnson. they are all so much fun! soon, i will be returning to a hybrid of CE and TF. those two are my favorites :)
FEB 2011: going strong and still doing a combo of turbo fire and CE. i'm also adding in rev abs every chance i get. it is a great blend of ab, strength and cardio training. check out the creater of rev abs, brett hoebel, on this season of the biggest loser! August 2010. I am 6 weeks into the Turbo fire program. It is amazing. I have NEVER had this much fun working out. It's a lot of tough cardio but Chalene Johnson makes it fun and I forget I'm working out. According to my bodybugg, I burn about 100 calories every 10 minutes! I love it. Last week, I started adding back Chalean Extreme a few days a week to get some extra strength training. Turbo Fire and CE are truly the perfect combination for me to stay fit! March 2010. WOW! On March 16th, I finished a round of Insanity. I THOUGHT I was fit until I tackled Insanity. I had accomplished most of my fitness goals prior to starting this program but I always want to challenge myself so, that is why I decided to do this program. Plus, I love trying the different Beachbody programs! Okay, the first two weeks were awful. The workouts were the most intense cardio I had ever done in my life. I felt nauseus half way through most of the workouts but I was very determined. Also, the first two weeks, I gained a few pounds which I was NOT happy about. I got to the end of the first month and I couldn't see much improvement. My fit test results were getting a little better but the program was still pretty tough. However, when I started the second month (after the "recovery" week) I started really enjoying the program. I know it doesn't make much sense because the workouts were longer and more intense but I could do them and that was very encouraging to me. I started to feel so much stronger. I decided not to weigh or measure until the end of the program so that I wouldn't get discouraged. By the time I got to the final fit test, I was SO STRONG! I'm so happy that I did this program. Here are my fit test results:

Also, like I mentioned, I didn't really need to lose weight so, my main goal was to increase my endurance. I did end up losing 8 lbs, and one inch off my waist, 1/2 inch off my hips and 1/4 inch off my arms and thighs. My body fat went down to 20%. All that to say, I'm glad I pushed through and was able to DIG DEEPER. Nothing compares to feeling and being healthy everyday! Currently, I'm doing Chalean Extreme again for strength training and adding in various cardio about 3 times a week, including Insanity!
April 2009: I have been married for fourteen years and I have two sons, ages 7 and 11. I am very involved with school and church activities. I'm always looking for enjoyable ways to improve my health and fitness and I love encouraging other people to take better care of themselves. With Beachbody there really is something for everyone. They have complete programs for nutrition and fitness as well as great supplements and shakes! I started doing the Chalean Extreme program in January of this year. I loved it and completed four months of it w/great results. Then, i wanted to try P90X. Oh my goodness. It is a tough workout but I have gotten so much stronger. I am almost half way through this 3 month program. When, I am done, I will probably do a combination of my favorite workouts from Chalean Extreme and P90X.
UPDATE: I have completed the 13 weeks of P90X. I am so much stronger and leaner than when I started. I love the sense of accomplishment that it has given to me. I still think that I will continue with a hybrid of CE and P90X but I'll also be trying out the other BB programs!
I'm so thankful to have learned about Beachbody products. I love the programs AND Shakeology. I drink a morning shake every day and feel great! I love being a Coach and getting to talk to other people about how they can improve their health!

I have always been interested in health and fitness but I have not always been consistent in pursuing a healthy lifestyle. In January of this year, I purchased Chalean Extreme and was a part of a small accountability/weight loss group. This program has given me a love for fitness again. I actually enjoy and look forward to my workouts. After three months of working out with Chalean Extreme, I had 11% weight loss, 5.7% body fat loss and lost 24 inches from my body (measuring 9 places)! I am so much stronger than when I first started. Now, I am doing the fourth month which is Lean for Life and I still LOVE it!!
UPDATE: I just completed a round of P90X (13 wks). I really had to push myself hard but I'm so glad that I stuck with it. Success was a little harder to measure b/c I had already lost most of the weight that I needed to lose with the CE program. However, I did get so much stronger and by the end of the program I was able to do more pull-ups and pushups than ever before! I also lost 5 lbs and 4 more inches from my hips/thighs! For the first time in my life, I am wearing a size 4 pants. I've always at my smallest been a size 6 so I don't really even know what to think about that. There's always room for improvement but I'm so happy with my overall progress and recently had a full physical and it feels great to be healthy inside and out!
