Hey everyone! I'm a 24yr old licensed practical nurse (LPN),who works 48 hours a week,at a nursing home,and for a Urology Association group. I'm very busy, while trying to finish up my registered nursing program (RN) online at home through Excelsior College.
I was always actively involved in sports in high school during phys ed class. After attending my first year of college, eating chicken fingers, french fries, and a pop, was a daily routine to eat before and after class, which then I would go straight to work, and indulge on some more unhealthly eating patterns. At the nursing home, we would always order "something from up the street," like a chicken finger sub, or "the stinger pizza." Then,I started drinking Pepsi everyday "to take the edge off," of work. Then, without realizing it, i was drinking 1,2,3cans a day. When I finally realized how many Pepsi's I was drinking, I was drinking almost 3 20oz Pepsi's a day, not just 3 8oz Pepsi's. That was a total of 60oz/daily=250calories/20z x3bottles=750calories daily. In 1 year I had gained 18lbs, AND I"LL NEVER FORGOT IT!On the other hand, I had always danced for a total of 7-8yrs prior to college involving:tap, jazz, and ballet. I just started back tap dancing last year as a hobbie, and realized I was seriously getting out of shape.
I now own beachbody's :Turbo Jam, P90X, slimin6, and Chalean extreme. I have recently switched from Chalean Extreme, backto P90X. I'm "doing by best, and forgetting the rest," everyday, and loving the workouts. It's challenging but fun. And likewise Chalean says, "go heavy, or go home." I'm doing this to gain physical and mental results, while getting lean, toned, and getting rock hard muscles! These are great workouts.
Make a difference,and be motivated, whatever workout you choose, and stick with it! You'll be happy with yourself and your results!!! I'm now feeling more energized, healthy, and gaining strength not only from teambeachbody, but with teambeachbody. Good luck to all!!!!!!
