My first introduction to the Beachbody community was most likely similar to many people on here. Relatively fit and lean through my twenties and early thirties, and then sat and watched my weight, and fitness levels spiral slowly downwards. I chalked it up to "that's what happens when you get older." One day in December 2006 I saw a picture of myself and it shocked me. The person looking back was a tired, grey haired, pasty, overweight individual and that wasn't me. It couldn't be.
I had seen these infomercials playing constantly on the television and decided that maybe I should really check into them and see what all the fuss was about.

Long story short I went from the worst physical condition I had ever been in (I pulled a hamstring in the warm up of Power 90) to being as fit as I was in my late teens.

I have been through P90X 2.5 times (yes one round was 45 days) and know that it works. I am starting a new round on Tuesday July 20th 2010 with my goal to get ripped. Hopefully I am beginning this time around from a good starting point weight-wise so emphasis is on lifting heavy, watching what I eat and doing my best and forgetting the rest. (If you haven't done P90X before trust me, this and other sayings will become part of your daily mantra. :)
