My journey with Beachbody products started more than ten years ago when I ordered Power 90 to get in shape for my 10 year high-school reunion. I loved the workouts and I finished the program just before the holidays and then I let life get in the way. I lived in AZ so I hiked every day, rode my horse and kayaked on the weekends but I forgot about Beachbody and Power 90. When I had my first child I ordered Slim in 6 to lose the extra pregnancy weight and again, once I achieved my goals I stopped using the program. I couldn't get through my head that you are either progressing or regressing and doing nothing DID NOT mean I was going to stay the same. I was fairly fit and just didn't have the extra push I needed yet...

I was on bed rest for 7 months during my pregnancy with my twins. All of my lean body eventually turned to jelly and I lost my muscle definition. I didn't have lots of weight to lose but I certainly needed to get back in shape. I like many mothers let life get in the way and put my children and their needs in front of my own health. In the spring of 2009 I was told that I probably had cancer and headed into surgery expecting the worst. I was very fortunate that my tests were wrong and I was cancer free. I wasn't able to workout for weeks after the surgery but was determined to take advantage of this second chance with my health. At the end of June I started Power 90 and blended that with Hip Hop Abs. I moved onto Power 90 Half Hour and Power 90 Master Series. It was when I started P90X in February 2010 that I really fell in love with working out and fully embraced my new healthy lifestyle. P90X rocks!! I made it through P90X 6 days a week for 90 days and never missed a single workout. I am a mother of 3 children, have no help at night with them or the household responsibilities, run my own boutique staffing firm and I MADE the time. I found that by making the time for myself to workout I actually accomplished more during my day and had better focus even while working. P90X has put me in the best shape of my life, improved my health and emotional well-being. I love it! I'm doing Insanity now and loving it and can't wait to do a blend of Insanity/P90X.
