I never had to worry about my weight until I had my children.

I was 126 lbs when I got married and up until I had my children.

2 back to back total bed rest pregnancies and many excuses later I gained 90 lbs. It took me many years to figure out that I had to make a change.

A couple of things that stick out in my mind: My daughter was born already and someone asked me when I was due. I was horrified.

I used to tell a co-worker before I was pregnant that I didn’t care what I had to do, if I had to not eat I would do that to lose the baby weight if I was ever pregnant. I told her I would not get fat after having my children.

My co-worker moved away and I saw her many years after having my children and her comment was something along the lines of “I thought you said you weren’t going to eat if that is what it took not to be fat after having children” It stung but she was right.

I saw an infomercial for Hip Hop Abs one day while watching tv. I thought it looked like a lot of fun and ordered it. I did it semi regularly and on one of the dvds I saw the infomercial for Turbo Jam. Now this was up my alley. I ordered Turbo Jam and was much more committed to that program.

Next I totally changed my diet. No more processed foods. No more sodas, cookies anything basically that was not made in my kitchen did not enter my kitchen.

Next came 1 full round of Chalene Extreme, which was monumental to me because before Chalene Extreme I never followed the program exactly for the full 90 days.

Since December of 2008 I have completed 2 full rounds of Chalene Extreme and 1 round of P90x.

I have had amazing results so far. I have gone from a size 18 to a size 12. My goal is to lose 30 - 40 lbs more.

I decided to become a coach because Beachbody products have brought me so close to my goal and adding shakeology is going to be the key for me. I love these products and I can help you on your journey as well.
