(updated 7/25/10) Throughout my youth I was very athletic playing soccer, football, track n field, and basketball. I burned a ton of calories and could eat tons of pizza and pasta everyday without gaining weight. I went on to play college soccer at Flagler College and was in great shape weighing between 170-175 lbs through my term years there. I was lean, fast, great endurance and could run two miles in under 12 minutes.

After graduating college and starting my career in corporate America as a headhunter, I started working 10+ hours a day, wining and dining clients, going to happy hours, and eating unhealthy. I gained 20 lbs and maintained 195 lbs on my 5'8" frame. I went from lean to bulky because I would lift weights about three times a week and have a gorgeous round budha belly from all the great food and alcoholic drinks I indulged in. I was still playing soccer, but just once a week in a Men's Over 30 league, where my speed was not nearly what it used to be and I would feel like a train hit me for days after a game (especially around my lower back).

I finished 2009 and finally decided that I would set some health goals. I was introduced to Beachbody and the P90X program through a friend of mine and was instantly attracted to the program as a way to achieve my goals.

My wife Tereza and I started the P90X program on Jan. 25 this year and were bringing it to every workout and using the simple to follow meal plan, with our recovery/peak performance drinks, and Shakeology which is still our favorite meal of the day. After the 8th week, we went on vacation for 3 weeks and were missing our healthy lifestyle that we got used too. But we felt great in our bathing suits on South Beach with our newly developed beachbodies.

We look forward to the hour a day that we're going to pop in a video and sweat. And our energy levels comfort in our our skin is awesome.
