I've done this before....a few times, actually...and I have a serious love/hate relationship w/Tony, Chalene and Shaun T. A couple of months ago, I was laying in bed at night and I was so upset. I don't remember what specific event occurred that night, but I remember this: asking myself "why am I always LAST?" I'm sure this was somehow stemming from one of those parental moments when you are so exhausted from doing eeverything for everyone else that you have lost yourself in the process. So, after I ask myself this question, I answered myself (yes, I did). And my answer was this: "BECAUSE YOU PUT YOURSELF THERE!" I was right! I put myself LAST! And I had made a bad habit of it. Well, that ended that night. Fort he next 60 days, I found one hour in my day where I put myself FIRST! I was determined to do something for ME, just me! I have always relied on Beachbody to get my body back into shape after losing myself sometimes and I found it so fitting that I chose a program called INSANITY....with all that is insane in my world :) I am a mother and I am a wife and I am crazy.

I must be crazy for loving this program! Shaun T....oh, I have had some words for you in the last 60 days (and some hand gestures). But all in all, I have to thank you, for whipping my sorry butt into shape. Frighteningly enough I really liked your quasi militant style of barking orders and telling me to "dig deeper." And even though I was crursing most of the time time, I was pushing myself to get stronger and stronger each day. I have to say, taking day 1 photos is definitely a humiliating moment. It's hard to look at THAT body. What happened to THAT body??? Hmmm..despite the obvious poor food choices, there are those 2 little humans running around my house that were removed from my body through a lovely 6 inch incision through my core. I have to laugh at Shaun T whenever he says to use my core....WHAT CORE?? I think the c-section took care of that (twice). That said...I am stronger now than I have been in a LONG time. Can I hold a plank for as long as Ariel? uhhhh, no, but I might be able to someday. and yes, someday, b/c this isn't the end of the road..no by a long shot! I am moving forward, with Beachbody by my side and marching right ahead through my healthy life. MY healthy life, something not only for ME, but for my 2 little lovies and one big love.
