I saw myself slipping. I wasn't paying attention any more to what I ate. I gained 15 pounds that I had lost back as about as quickly as I lost it. I was down at about 140 and about 23% body fat. Then I kind of relaxed. I still worked out 2 to 3 times a week, but I wasn't paying as close of attention to eating the right portion or to how much junk I was eating. I just finished my second week of Phase two. I am beginning to really feel good about what I am doing. During phase one I don't know what I did but I tweaked my neck a little. For a couple weeks my More ...
I just finished my second week of Phase two. I am beginning to really feel good about what I am doing. During phase one I don't know what I did but I tweaked my neck a little. For a couple weeks my neck felt tender on one side. I still did every workout, but I think this pain in my neck, was keeping me from feeling really good. A couple of adjustments from my chiropractor and I'm doing much better. I'm doing the lean p90x because I want to drop some weight, but I'm mixing it up with Plyo now instead of Cardio X. My husband who is doing the classic P90x likes plyo the best. I didn't want to miss out on this challenge. Cardio X I did during phase one and now after two weeks of plyo I like it because it challenges me more than Cardio X.
Phase one- Lost a little weight and body fat, but nothing to write home about. Found the diet hard to manage. Eating that much protein was hard. I always felt full.
Phase two- I am now feeling better with my diet that I can have a little more carb and don't have to force down as much protein. I've lost a little more weight. I will update my picture and info at 60 days.
Day 63- I'm posting my picture today. I can see some positive changes. The most exciting thing that has happened is that I fit back into my size 8 shorts. Still a little snug, but not super tight. It's funny cause I've only lost a total of about 5 pounds, but its just about translated to 2 sizes of clothing.
I started the second week of phase three and I kind of feel weak. On some of the exercises, my numbers are down. Maybe I'm just not having a good day. The diet is going well, but it's strange to only have a little protein now. Everything takes adjustment.
