Monroe, WA I am in my late twenties, married and at home with my very active little boy. My involvement with working out began as a preschooler while tagging along with my mom for aerobics class. I loved it. Later, I found that I could tag the boys in games and decided to run track and cross country in high school and college. Since leaving a team setting, staying fit has been a motivational struggle. I I am in my late twenties, married and at home with my very active little boy. My involvement with working out began as a preschooler while tagging along with my mom for aerobics class. I loved it. Later, I found that I could tag the boys in games and decided to run track and cross country in high school and college. Since leaving a team setting, staying fit has been a motivational struggle. I have tried a gym membership and felt ill at the money I wasted in not attending or doing a poor workout due to broken or occupied equipment. Needing some sort of accountability, I started p90X and am enjoying my fitness journey. I look forward to getting in the best shape possible and challenging my strength, endurance and fitness level each and every day! Once I am done with P90X, I want to try some other workouts that Beachbody has to offer.
I am so excited about this and other Beachbody programs, that I decided to become a Beachbody coach. My work as a coach gives me the opportunity to share my passion for fitness and the flexibility to be home with my baby boy, who is a crazy, wonderful addition to my life. Before becoming a mom, I enjoyed working with parents helping them successfully reach their child’s educational goals. Through working in education I found that when there is a problem, then difficulties increase within his/her own person as well as with family and friends . I have found that to be true within fitness as well. Just being out of shape is not the only problem in and of itself, but compounds to mean less energy, sleep, engaged time with family, physical health as well as personal satisfaction. Finding out a person’s reasons for working out and living right is complex and now that I have begun reaching my goals, I want to help others reach theirs. So, what are your reasons?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine…It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. We are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson

My transformation is just beginning. I have been athletic in the past and only kept up occasionally. I want more energy, and I don't want to suck in when I am in a bathing suit. I want to hike longer and run faster and do it all without going to a gym--is that too much to ask? I love working out with other people and want them to come workout in my garage with me and we can keep each other motivated. If coming out to my house is difficult, then I am willing to meet up with you once/week! In the spring I want to start a stroller mom's group at Lake Tye and do a park workout with our kids and then cruise around the lake, trying not to stop at the Chocolate Moose at the end.
