I am a 26yr old Graphic Design Student currently attending the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I love life and have a very positive attitude about fitness.
Let me just say that weight loss is something that I have been struggling with recently...in the last 4 years. I was always used to being thin and pretty, but a couple of years after having my daughter I just started packing on pounds. Not to mention continuing to stay in an emotionally unhealthy relationship. Then I went on a cruise vacation...and wham my body was ultra spoiled with food!
My wakeup call actually came around my 26th birthday, when a routine checkup from my Dr., discovered that I had high blood pressure & dangerously high cholesterol levels. She told me I was on track for blood clots, and diabetes. 2 years prior my best friend Ursula died of diabetes at the young age of 29. This was hard news for me, and scared me so much that I knew I needed to make a change. To make matters worse my mother who has been suffering from RA was hospitalized, for being under weight and not eating the proper foods.
Here I was overweight, and I was losing the most important people in my life because of bad eating habits.
I started Slim in 6 after seeing it on an infomercial. I was impressed with the success stories and results of the women who completed the program. In 6 weeks I lost 20lbs, 9" off my waist, and 3-5" from my chest, arms, hips and legs!
I have now moved on and have a wonderfully supportive new boyfriend. However before you can heal mentally you have to work hard at erasing the physical damage that was done by letting your body go. These things go hand in hand, and I am now in a happier place where anything is possible.
I am confident, strong and committed to getting back into a much healthier shape...and I have moved on to many of the programs Beachbody has to offer, so if you need advice please ask!
Now that I am a coach, I am even more committed to reaching my goals as well as helping others. If you are looking to succeed and you need motivation, if you need someone that understands how hard it can be to get fit, but is willing to work hard for the benefits then please contact me! 90 Days to A New You: My 90 Day Goals Weekly 1. Lose 2lbs. per week. 2. Follow Insanity program (currently on week 1) then follow with Asylum. 3. Eat clean for all meals each week, except 1 cheat meal. 4. Workout at least 6 days per week. 5. Drink at least 64oz. of water per day. 6. Dont make excuses/exceptions not to exercise!
Monthly 1. Lose 8-10lbs. per month. 2. Eat no fast or fried food. 3. Maintain workout program ( Insanity to Asylum ) 4. Track progress through pictures, weight, body fat and measurements.
90 Days 1. Lose 25-30lbs. depending on body fat composition. 2. Do 50 regular push-ups, improve cardiovascular endurance. 3. Fit my Vera Wang gown!
