I am a self-employed father of 4 boys ad have been married for 18 years. We live a fairly active lifestyle as we are involved in Boy Scouts and do a great deal of hiking, backpacking, and camping. I am also a soccer coach for a U12 boys team.

I have never been a very physically fit person and have gained more interest over the last few years. In high school I was always small and not very strong or fast so I did not excel in athletics. I have been mainly running for exercise over the last 3 years and decided I wanted to take it to the next level. I would also like to be a better example to my boys in my eating and lifestyle habits.
