Beach Park, IL My name is Tim and my current status is as follows: I'm 29 yrs. old, weigh in at 300 lbs., & I just quit smoking one week ago. Also, I'm 6'-4" tall; so even though I don't look fat, I certainly feel fat and my jeans don't lie. My waist (for wearing jeans) is currently 42" x 32" inseam. My current waist (around my belly button) is 48". It's beyond time to do something about this. About 15 yrs. Discipline, determination, & commitment were never a problem. My diet has always been the problem. I'm asking for help when it comes to my diet. Please help!

I am on this path of fitness because I'm not at all happy about where I am at in my life. My nutrition consisted of fast food, pizza (frozen and fresh), and generally other food that promised health benefits, but not in massively large quantities. At my heaviest weight of 315 lbs. one night on the scale, I decided I couldn't keep this up. A friend of mine who used to weigh 360 lbs., recently diagnosed with diabetes, and that scared me enough to change my eating habits. After a couple of months, I finally decided to finally push play and haven't stopped yet. Just starting out, but I'm not going to stop this time. Before this program, the longest working out session I did was 3 months in a gym and that didn't include cardio. I'm tired of trying to fit my butt on a standard toilet seat. I'm tired of holding my breath and sucking it in just to put my socks on and tie my shoes. But most of all, I'm tired of just treading water in life instead of going for it all out like Michael Phelps through water. I'd really like to get back to my body I used to have; like Brad Pitt in 'Fight Club'. Maybe more like Ryan Reynolds in 'Blade Trinity'.
I'll add more to this when I transform my body back to hot and sexy.
