It was about this time(June 2009)last year that I was into month two of the X. I remember seeing the infomercial on TV and jotting it down. But I had issues with infomercials in general and did nothing. One of the things that I have been doing over the years is going to the gym. The benefits were more around that I went to work out, rather than seeing any results. It was lame actually, but I did enjoy it.

So I started the program and it kicked my %#*. Deciding to workout at 5AM each morning was interesting. I never had done that before, and it became a routine.

Over time, my wife noticed that I was "different." I started to gain muscle. I was posting to Mike French's thread nearly every day for accountability.

By June of 2008 my wife and I were on our way to my cousin's wedding, and I was firing away. I leaned out and lost 7% BF and 13-15 lbs.

Then my dad got sick. I lived with my mom and dad and was with my dad and family till ... the last thought I had was to lift weights and focus on nutrition.

So, here I am again months later. Things are dialing in and I feel a focus I haven't felt in a long, long time. And that is something.

Really something.

The Goals:

To stay fit
To build core for skiing
To build lean muscle
To lose BF ---> Goal BF%: 14%
To develop muscle groups to put of the aging process, yes, the decades are adding up.
To develop my legs and calves so that I can power up and hill while mountain biking.
To use Kettlebells in the routine.
To increase VOMax - get my wind bac

OK - Holy crap this is an intense workout program.  I burned over 900 cals in an hour yesterday.  The knees, back, chest, and foot are fine.  Being careful with the body as Im pushing More ...
