My name is Mike Barnwell and I have been in the Fitness industry for over 15 years. I attended the University of Memphis where I obtained a degree in Exercise Physiology and worked as a Personal trainer for many of the competitive athletes looking for an edge. I also worked with a variety of professors conducting research on the effectiveness of sport supplementation on performance. I currently work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist here in the Colorado Springs area.

I have been involved in competitive sports and Bodybuilding for the past 14 years. During those times I have also gone through a lot of injuries and a few surgeries. My most recent surgery was on my left rotator cuff and I decided after that to start exploring other types of training. I have done everything out there and a lot of things work you just have to put in the time and effort and have an effective plan to see results. I started crossfit training about a year ago and love the intensity and results but most people have to join a crossfit gym so that they can use all the equipment needed for the workouts. I came across P90X one night and after looking into it I ordered it because I love to personally test new workout systems. I have only been doing it a short time but it is the most effective home workout system I have ever come across, and I have not been this sore in awhile. Most bodybuilding routines could not even match with the effectiveness that this routine demonstrates. P90X reminds me of a lot of the crossfit workouts minus the olympic lifting.
