Hi, my name is Sharon. I am 44 years old and love what I do! I am married to my high school sweetheart of 26 years and I have 2 children. My son has graduated college and is working full time for a Plastic’s company. My daughter has graduated with 2 degrees and was on the women's golf team. I am so proud of them.
I love going to the beach, playing golf, cooking, reading and spending time

I was in relatively good health until I turned 30, but every year after that I gained 5-10 lbs. By November of 2006 I had reached 209 lbs. I knew I had to do something about my weight, but for the life of me I could not get motivated. In November of 2006 I decided to see a doctor for a checkup. I needed some type of motivation. Of course the doctor said I needed to lose weight and she also took some blood to do some lab tests. Everything was great except my cholesterol. My total cholesterol was 320 and my LDL was 242! The doctor wanted me to start medication but I decided to try diet and exercise first. Wow! That really scared me, but with the holidays in the midst I put my diet off once again. My sister-in-law sent me a family picture she had taken on Christmas and that is what really put me over the edge. When I saw myself I thought to myself “Oh my God! How did you get so overweight? Sharon you really need to do something about your weight”. So I decided to start right then and there.

In preparation for my new adventure I decided to try my Slim in 6 tapes again. I bought them about 2 years ago but never stuck with them. I can’t even remember how many times I started and stopped the program. I read all the material and decided to go on their website for some extra information. That is where I discovered the Million Dollar Body Club. I read all about the club and it seemed like just what I needed to help get and keep me on track this time around.

I joined the club on December 29th 2006 and submitted my picture and stats. I worked out and logged into WOWY everyday. The first week I walked and did some light aerobics. I also checked out the message boards. That’s where I got a lot of great information and encouragement from a lot of great people. The support on WOWY and the boards has really helped me stay on track this time.

On January 6th, 2007 I started my Slim in 6 program. It was hard in the beginning, but after a while I got the hang of it. After 6 weeks I lost 21 lbs. and 10 inch’s and I was feeling great! I was sleeping better and I woke up ready for the day. I have since started another round of my Slim in 6 program. I have lost a total of 25 lbs. and 13 inch’s in 2 months. But the best news of all is that my cholesterol is down to 186 and my LDL is down to 129 after only 2 months of diet and exercise. My doctor can’t believe my results.

Before I started my diet I went through all my cabinets, the refrigerator and the freezer and threw out all of the unhealthy foods. I went out and replaced them with healthy ones. My diet basically consisted of 3 meals and 2 snacks each day. I basically followed the 6 day diet plan 2 and the 1400 calorie low-carb express plan. I modified them slightly to suit my food preferences. I drank plenty of water, used performance formula and took a multi-vitamin.

I am so happy to have come across the Million Dollar Body Club and the support system that goes along with my Slim in 6 program. The chance to win some money is only the icing on the cake (low calorie cake of course). With time, perseverance and my new found tools from the Million Dollar Body Club I now can look forward to a fit and slim me!

Update 2/4/08. I did not do so well over the Holidays and January but I am ready to get it going again!
Thanks Million Dollar Body Club!!!!!!!!!!!
