I am a 39 yr old, happily married, mother of 4. I love old houses (mine being one of them) and shopping for antiques and other treasures. It is hard for me to remember what a hobby is, since becoming a mother 12 years ago! I stay home with my kids but also work for a home care agency on a per diem basis as a nurse. I am involved in church activities and of course running after my kids. I am a 39 yr old, happily married, mother of 4. Looking to other people for approval is sometimes a problem of mine, so I am always needing a reminder to look to Jesus, only, for acceptance and unconditional love so I can then give it to others.

I began this transformation at the urging of my coach who is a new and dear friend. I had worked out on my treadmill for several years but as much as I used it, I never saw a change to my flabby More ...
I began this transformation at the urging of my coach who is a new and dear friend. I had worked out on my treadmill for several years but as much as I used it, I never saw a change to my flabby middle. I started Hip Hop Abs in early May and soon began to notice a change in my core which included a strength I had not had before and also more control. I also noticed that my arms were more toned which I had not expected. My pants were also fitting better which always makes a girl feel good!
In September of 2008, I began P90X, which I thought would be impossible, but it was doable. It was soooo hard but I stuck with it and saw lots of changes which included increased endurance, strength, and confidence! Amazing!! I had a glimpse of the abs I had wanted but thought were impossible after having 4 children.
I am now in my second round of the X and continue to see changes that amaze me. I continue to improve and am able to perform better and do things that I couldn't do during the first round. I never would have thought that it would be so fun to challenge myself like this but it is! I have also learned the importance of making my body serve me rather than me serving my body. It is funny...I recently heard someone say that I was obsessed with exercise (which I am soooo not), but you know, no one ever says that someone is obsessed with sitting on the couch, eating chips!! I love this way of life and am convincec that as I get older, this is the ONLY way to look the way I want to look and feel the way I want to feel! Thank you Beachbody!!
My diet is something that I continue to work on but is a struggle.I have included more veggies and cut out a lot of "white" stuff. Consistency has always been a challenge for me but by making these changes slowly, I feel I will be more likely to stick with it! I have also added flax seed to my diet, which has many benefits. I am now anticipating my first shipment of Shakeology.
