I'm a recent college graduate and former Division 1 college athlete. I've always been on the larger side even though I've played sports my whole life. Well, I wanna beachbody. And I'm confident Beachbody is the answer!

I don't want to be the twenty-something adult that doesn't do things because I feel self-conscious due to my weight. I wanna have the confidence to do whatever I want. I also

I started attempting to do something about my weight in Nov. 2003 after hitting rock bottom at 242 pounds. I had gotten to that point due to emotional eating and boredom. At that point I didn't feel my life was going in the direction I wanted it to. Also, my family had recently discovered that my younger brother was suffering from bipolar disorder. It was really making me depressed and I didn't think I was ever going to get my weight under control. I had seen infomercials for Power 90 and Slim in 6. I decided to start with Power 90 and then Slim in 6. At first I had only moderate success due to an injury I was still suffering from since college. Through a healthy diet and very little exercise, I went from 242 to 205 lbs. A few months later I was to move cross country (from Portland, OR to Chicago). I started going for my second degree at a very challenging design institution. I had gained some weight back and was 215lbs. when I got there. I started dieting again and got down to 183lbs, but didn't have the space to workout. Over the next year I gained all of that weight back. So in June 2006 I decided to go back to what I knew worked - Beachbody! I did 8 weeks of Slim in 6 and I started writing down EVERYTHING I ate in my food journal. It was great, for the first time I felt in control of my diet. I was completely accountable. After Slim in 6 I did Turbo Jam for 3 weeks and had a blast. I then started Slim Series. From June 2006 to November 2006 I had lost 42lbs, 4 sizes, and 37inches off of my body. It was the most consistent weightloss I had ever had. And better yet I proved to myself that I could stick to something and make it work for me, even with a very busy schedule! I've now completed my thesis and graduated and have time to really kick it up with my workouts. I have recently done Slim in 6 and I am preparing to start Slim Series again including Debbie's new Slim Series Express DVDs. I can say with confidence that Beachbody products are great! If you follow their guidelines, you will get into the best shape ever! To date I've lost 81lbs going from 242 lbs size 20W (32.9% Body Fat), to 161lbs size 10/12 regular, NOT womens (26%Body Fat). I couldn't have done it without Beachbody and Debbie Siebers, Tony Horton, and Chalene Johnson! I know that I will make it to my goal this time. If you want it bad enough, there's nothing you can't achieve! It makes me feel good to know that I've been a role model for my little brother and potentially others. I've been so lucky to have such a supportive family.
