Greetings everyone. I currently live in small town Indiana and work for one of the major orthopedic manufacturing companies. I'm just a normal guy that decided to get as fit as I possibly could after watching a P90X infomercial late one night in a hotel room. I didn't have any super specific goals other than getting the max results in 90 days of the X.

Round 1 of P90X and 1 round of Insanity are done. The 25lbs I lost from P90X has stayed off and have been able to maintain that weight despite the focus on cardiovascular fitness in Insanity. Shaun T has built a program that pushes your lungs to new levels but allows you to still build muscle in key areas like your shoulders, back, and abdominals. The days of being at 22% bodyfat are long gone and shall never return. Only in my wildest dreams did I ever think single digit BF% was possible. I never expected to have visible abdominal muscles and certainly not in the 90 days of the X. Insanity has allowed me to get more toned and lean in a way that only cardio can. For anyone that is hesitant about doing Insanity in fear of losing muscle, don't be. Although you are not doing 100 pullups in a week like in X, there is still plenty of opportunity to keep and build muscle.

This new way of life has transformed my relationship with food and fitness. My wife and I now eat for fuel and not just for the satisfaction of feeling full.

I'm proud of the results of my hard work but without a doubt, I am most proud of the fact that I have motivated several co-workers and most importantly, my parents to get fit and eat right.

On August 4th, I started a variation on the traditional P90X schedule and put together a schedule that is geared towards packing on about 5-7 lbs of muscle on this new body.
