After seeing horrifying numbers on the scale, I began biking daily (usually about 12.5 miles, but I've done up to 20 miles some days). I also began going to "Kwando" classes at my gym (Turbo Jam-ish sort of classes) and lifting weights twice a week. Occasionally, I try to slip a yoga class in as well. I'm now doing Turbo Jam 6 days a week since weather no longer permits pleasant biking. I'm nearing the 1/3 of my weight-to-lose goal and I can tell the difference in my waistline and clothing fit --(I shrunk a size in jeans today!).
