Well this has been a frustrating five weeks. I have been working out hard and have lost NO weight and only a few inches, but I'm not letting that deter me from getting up and pushing play. I know the weight will come off eventually, my body is just being stubborn plus the eating has not been the best but I feel good and thats what counts.

Beachbody is great. I originally signed on for the free gift, but I have found the tools on BB to be so helpful that I have decided to continue my membership. The custom meal plan is especially helpful for a person like me whose weakness/ curse/ obsession is food. The calorie counter keeps me in line and helps me stick to healthy eating habits. But it is an upheal battle. Knowing that there are others who have gone through and/or are going through what I am experiencing is helpful and gives me hope.

The one thing I do not have trouble with is exercising. (Well to be honest there are some days when my bed looks a lot more inviting then my basement where I workout, but I sleep so much better after turbo.) TURBO JAM IS THE BOMB. I HAVE NEW DVDs!! I tried power 90 but found that it was not for me. I noticed that YBB used dance like TJ but it was very differnet from TJ. It looked like it was high energy and a lot of fun so I decided to give it a shot, and i LOVED IT.
YBB is fun, soothing, and effecitve. I think I found my two gems in TJ and YBB.
I have also heard that p90X is the bomb so thats whats up for the future.
The message boards are also very inspiring and often the great people on there can put a smile on my face and renewed determination in my heart when nothing else can.
With some determination and consistency in my diet I know I will reach my weight loss goals.

My ultimate goal is to get back to my 21 year old days as far as weight, and that wasn't that long ago, man 5 years make a huge difference. I use to be able to lose 10 pounds in about a week and a half and actually keep it off for a little while, obviously those days are behind me. Slow and steady is winning this race.
