I am a 44 year old mother of a disabled teenager. I recently went to visit my family. My neice had lost a considerable amount of weight and I asked her what had made her decide to lose the weight. She told me that she the way she was going, she wasn't going to be around for her sons graduation. She wanted to be a better mom, better wife and feel better about herself. WOW, who would have thought that the words of this "kid" (she is only 10 yrs younger than I) would sink in like they did. I came back from the visit with a new perspective and a goal. I had seen Connie's photos and thought that if anyone could help me, it would be her. I hadn't seen her since we graduated high school, but I felt comfortable reaching out to her. We talked that first night on the phone for over an hour. She told me the differences, what she would suggest I start with, as I am 60 or so lbs overweight. I watched the videos on the website and discussed this with my husband and signed up to become a coach. Well, a coach in training. I know that I will be calling on Connies wisdom, enegy and guidance as I begin my journey to a healthy lifestyle.
