3/9/08: It's been a very rough start, with the whiplash/surgical shoulder injury, illnesses, and minor various numerous physical problems. I finally have been able to give 100% to my workouts since the last half of Feb. My problem is that I get over zealous and give too much to my workouts, resulting in injury that keeps me from exercising for one to several days.

I've had no problem whatsoever in drinking one gallon of water per day, and the motivation to work out is very high, I could, however use more discipline with eating the proper portion sizes. What I eat is pretty clean, it's just the size of my portions that I'm still struggling with. Plus once in a while I am overtaken by the horrible cravings for carbs and sweets.

Yesterday I exercised to Turbo Jam Max's Turbo Sculpt, and Yoga Booty Ballet's Beginners video. It was the first time I had done the YBB, and I guess I should not have pushed myself to the extreme I did, because I have been forced to take a rest day today due to right lowback/hip pain. Treating it with hot bath, muscle relaxers, and pain pills. Hoping I'll be able to do a least some working out tomorrow.
