I'm a 53 y.o single father with a 10 y.o. absolutely fabulous daughter. Former
elite athlete (sidelined by nagging knee problems) who is the managing
partner in a law
firm.
Love to travel and play golf. Made the mistake of allowing life to get in the
way of staying healthy and in shape.

Transformation story

My goal was to lose 30 lbs, I've lost 27 lbs so far. The scale doesn't really tell
you the true story because I've gained muscle in my chest, arms, legs and
back. The value is in losing 8 More ...
My goal was to lose 30 lbs, I've lost 27 lbs so far. The scale doesn't really tell
you the true story because I've gained muscle in my chest, arms, legs and
back. The value is in losing 8 inches in my waist, having more energy,
walking more upright with a little swagger, of course.

But even with all of that, I had another pleasant surprise, I recently had my
annual physical and, as usual, I passed without any complications, but this time my physician asked me what I was doing. I told him P90X and asked why? He then told me that all of my test results were for a male in his early
thirties, and that since I'm 53, he needed to know what changed in a year to give me a 21 year reduction in the aging process. WOW! I'm now 32 years old, again(?).

This has inspired me even more to keep going, not that I wasn't already motivated by my results, but, 21 years (!), is P90X the "fountain of youth?" Well, I don't
know about anyone else but it is for me.

I injured myself and couldn't work out for almost four months. This resulted in a weight gain of 13 pounds. I'm frustrated with the gain because I feel like I'm starting all over again.

My motivation is low but I must push pass the disappointment. So here i am, entering new measurements and re-starting my program. Wish me luck.
