I am a 5th degree Black Belt in Shito Ryu Karate; I have run 10 marathons and I am a Certified Personal Trainer.
I recently ran the 2010 Boston Marathon. On April 19th I was in the best shape this 58 year old frame has ever been.
So in addition to my marathon training which is already planned out, I am incorporating p90x workouts. I completed my first one today. I thought I was in good shape...I couldn't come close to keeping up with Tony and the others on the video. Just wait....in 90 days, I will!
The adventure has begun!
I am three weeks into the p90x training. I have noticed a marked improvement in my stamina, endurance and speed while running. The After Workout Recovery Drink is the best one I have ever used. The Protein Bars and Whey Protein Powder give my system just what it needs. In these three months I have lost 8 lbs, and 2" from my waist. If you have any questions, get in touch with me!
So here's the UPDATE: Tomorrow (1/23/2010) is my 45th day in the p90x workout. I have lost a total of 10 lbs, 2' from my waist and have gone from 19.7% to 13.5% total body fat. WOOHOO!
Day 88- JUST TWO MORE DAYS! I am amazed how many people have noticed the change in my body! "What have you been doing?" they ask. "There's this little company called Beachbody," I say, "let me tell you all about it!"
I AM A P90X GRADUATE! WOOHOO!
