Monroe, WA Hello, I am a 32 year old mother of two- 11 and 12 - I have a wonderful husband, two labs, and a cat. We live in Monroe, Washington. I am currently a Project Engineer for a large commercial contractor, an INBF (International Natural Body Building Federation) Competitor and promotor. I am also currently studying for my PT cert, and will move into nutrition. I am currently 16 weeks out from my first Hello, I am a 32 year old mother of two- 11 and 12 - I have a wonderful husband, two labs, and a cat. We live in Monroe, Washington. I am currently a Project Engineer for a large commercial contractor, an INBF (International Natural Body Building Federation) Competitor and promotor. I am also currently studying for my PT cert, and will move into nutrition. I am currently 16 weeks out from my first competition of the season. I am currently 160 pounds, and need to be right around 130 in order to be stage ready. That means dropping almost 2 pounds a week between then and now. I have done it before, but have to really work to do it. With all of your support and encouragement I know I can push through.
I am also a coach here on MDB, and look forward to being a friend and good support to anyone who needs it. Living a healthy life is very important to me, and teaching my children this habit is even more important. I am looking to encourage each and every one of you in your journey to living your healthy life and teaching your children as well... About four years ago I saw an ad on TV for Jenny Craig - to "Lose 20lb for $20". I thought oh, I don't have that much to lose, but I would like to lose some, so the next day I went to a local branch. More ...
About four years ago I saw an ad on TV for Jenny Craig - to "Lose 20lb for $20". I thought oh, I don't have that much to lose, but I would like to lose some, so the next day I went to a local branch. Much to my surprise I was 183lb (I did not own a scale). You can guess I signed up for the life time plan, not just the 20 pounds. You see, I carry my weight very well, and had no clue I was getting heavier and heavier. So, plugging away, doing cardio three to five times a week, eating on the Jenny Plan weekly and spending $200-$300 a week on food, and consultations. I lost...20lb, and hit a brick wall. They wanted me to cut back on workouts...NO...then they started cutting back my food...still no success. Then one day this gal in the gym came up to me and asked me if I had thought about competing in a bodybuilding competition. I said - well, no I really hadn't, but she hooked me up with trainer and nutritionist who is also the promoter of the competition. Denise is wonderful - she helped me to lose another 40 pounds for competition. I am now on to year three of competitions, and am in the same boat as last year - I need to lose 35 pounds by March 23rd...I will be competing in three shows this year as an Open Bodybuilder going for my Pro Card. It is amazing what you can do for yourself when you eat clean...
