Des Moines, WA I am 28 years old, have 2 kids and work 60+ hours a week. Over the years I've climbed Mt. Reiner, Mt. Baker and a host of other mountains and trails. As a kid I was a boyscout and was used to going on regular long distance hikes, climbs and rides; as a matter of fact, this lifestyle has been the way I've lived up until 3 years ago. Although, let's be honest, without really watching my nutritional I am 28 years old, have 2 kids and work 60+ hours a week. Over the years I've climbed Mt. Reiner, Mt. Baker and a host of other mountains and trails. As a kid I was a boyscout and was used to going on regular long distance hikes, climbs and rides; as a matter of fact, this lifestyle has been the way I've lived up until 3 years ago. Although, let's be honest, without really watching my nutritional intake and working a maintainable workout program, I wasn’t in NEARLY the shape and health I could have been!
To say I put on "baby weight" over the past few years would be a vast understatement! More appropriately it would be "baby-heart, chest, joint and overall body pain, anxiety, insomnia, and stress". My goals are not so much to lose weight, but to gain health, physical definition and condition. I'm ready to take charge of my health and finally do and be what I know I'm capable of doing and being.
The quality of my life is NOW one of my largest priorities! The value I put on my family and my own life is all I need to stay motivated….and a little push from Tony. I am important enough to put my health at the top of my list of priorities.
By the time I'm done working out I feel energized and capable of pushing forward for all of my other ambitions. So that's it; now all I have to do is PUSH PLAY and kick my own butt!
