Fairborn, OH Let's see... What can I say about myself? Well, I NEVER thought I would be writing a bio on a fitness website that's for sure lol! I was always overweight. Always the big kid in class. A few years ago, I decided to make a lifestyle change and get healthy for myself and the people I love. Now I really enjoy physical activities including working out on a regular basis. At my biggest, I weighed in probably about 320 lbs. I didn't weigh myself very often, but I could tell I was heavier than I was when I began to get serious about my health. I was 31, obese, and on More ...
At my biggest, I weighed in probably about 320 lbs. I didn't weigh myself very often, but I could tell I was heavier than I was when I began to get serious about my health. I was 31, obese, and on high blood pressure medications. I had a family history of diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. and I did not want to cut my life short if I didn't have to. I was going through some personal issues in 2007 and decided to put my energy in getting healthy. By trusting in God and making a lifestyle change, I was able to change my eating habits and I began to exercise. I lost over 100 lbs in about 15 months. I started to slack off a little, getting bored with my workouts. I gained some weight back and decided to get serious again. I had heard great things about P90X... I saw the infomercials, talked to people who had done it, but I never thought I could be someone who could actually do those extreme moves lol. January 2010 I decided to commit to the program and show myself I could do it. I am on my last week of my FIRST round and I am down over 20 lbs and inches off my waist. When the week is done, I will do the final weigh in and post up the official results!
UPDATE: Round 1 P90X Measurement Results: Weight - down 27 lbs, Chest - down 2.5", Waist - down 5.5", Hips - down 1.5", Thighs - down 0.5" each, Arms - same on right, gained 0.5" on left, TOTAL INCHES - down 9.5", body fat percentage down 6%.
P90X fitness test results: resting heart rate - down 6 points, pull-ups - up 3 (could do ZERO starting out lol), vertical leap - up 2", push-ups - up 15 reps, toe touch - up 5.5" past where I was before, wall squat - increased by 41 sec, bicep curls - up by 2 reps @ 5 lbs increased weight, in & outs - up 48 reps, heart rate maximizer - down about 7 beats per minute overall...

UPDATE 2: Shakeology 3-day cleanse results - Lost another 6 lbs!
UPDATE 3: I have currently started Round 2 of P90X and I love it! I have added Shakeology to the equation and have seen a huge increase in energy! My reps and weights are up significantly from my last round of the X. I will keep this updated with more results!
UPDATE 4: Round 2 P90X Measurement Results: Weight - down 17.4lbs, Chest - down 3", Waist - down 2.25", Hips - down 1.5", Thighs - down 1.25" each, Arms - down 0.75" each, TOTAL INCHES - down 10.75", body fat percentage down 3%.
Another UPDATE! It's been a while since I've updated here, so... I have completed a round of INSANITY after Round 2 of the X. Lost even more inches off my waist and about 5 lbs! Can't believe I used to have a 54" waist and now I'm wearing 33" pants! What a ride! I am currently doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid and I'm focusing on building more lean muscle. Adding our Strength and Muscle Formula to the mix to see what that does for me. I'll keep you all posted!
