I, like many of you, would consider my weight loss ordeal a hardcase. Over the last 20 years my weight has fluctuated between 205 and 270 lbs (sometimes in the same year!) I've tried the majority of fad diets and have always exercised in some form or another, yet I could not keep the weight off.

And to think, there was a time when I was not all that concerned about it! I've always been active and my size never kept me from doing the things I liked to do. In fact, it was a running joke among my friends that I was the "Triple F.G." for Fysically Fit Fat Guy.

Well in early 2008, with my 40th birthday just around the corner, I decided to wage a full scale attack on my physical form and bought P90. When my progress would plateau I refocused my efforts:

I had to change my eating habits...
I had to change my workout routines...
I had to change my entire lifestyle!

Sound like a lot of work? Sound like a lot of time? Well, it was at first and now it is just part of my daily routine. It took me over 20 years to shape my body into a 270 lb mass, it was unrealistic to expect it to change overnight!

THE BEACHBODY TRANSFORMATION

I orignally started out with P90 and my DVD library has grown to include P90 Master Series, Power Half Hour, P90X, 10 Minute Trainer, Slim in 6, and the Shakeology workouts.

For the record, since April of 2008 I have:

- Lost 55 pounds
- Lost 5 inches on my chest
- Lost 5 inches on my hips
- Lost 14 inches on my waist

That's right, dropped over a full foot off my pant size!

200 lbs Check! (6/09) NOTE: I have not been under 200 lbs in over 20 years!
180 lbs by 2/10

less than 10% BF Check!
less than 8% BF by 2/10

Complete a marathon by 03/10 - Austin Marathon 2/10!
Complete a triathlon by 06/10
