3/1/14 --- LOTS of starts and restarts - On Moday started 21 day fix.... WOW.. I eat healthy but am 20 lbs over where I was most my adult life.... This has showed I was WAY LOW on protein... WAY HIGH More ...

Well into my 50's my focus has switched to staying healthy - longevity and injury free....It's been a struggle for the last 4 years - with acute Achilles tendinitis and major eye surgery!
Too many nuts at work! Not as focused on appearance..

2013 - Comeback with Combat and now T25
2010 - 2013 - 20 lbs gained - injuries - acute Achilles tendinitis, eye surgery and hormones,
Prior to that 2006 - 2009 was in the groove

Exercise and clean eating really are the fountain of youth and P90x is the secret weapon! The results in terms of ENDURANCE, STRENGTH and FLEXIBILITY are off the charts!!
So back to my story...
Freshman year in college, I became obsessed with calories and the scale, basically starving myself. I became sick and after that, my weight rebounded by over 25 lbs. At this turning point, I focused on losing and then keeping the pounds off through obsessively counting calories. Over the next 15 years my weight was in kept in check, with the focus was totally on the scale not on being healthy.
In 1989, following the breakup of my marriage, a friend inspired me to work out with weights. Immediately, I fell in love with the strong and powerful feeling.
Over the years, even with life's curveballs; being out of work, the loss of my Dad, juggling a demanding career and single parenting, and losing my boyfriend/closest friend to cancer, nothing kept me away from working out for long.
All this changed in 2004, when we had major medical issues in the family Woorking out was no longer a priority. I gained weight and lost muscle definition.
In 2006, when his condition improved, I tried repeatedly to get back into a workout routine. NOTHING sparked my motivation. I joined a gym but never went. My extensive workout collection no longer inspired me. I needed a change!
P90x was the answer...
In August 2006, I bought p90x for my son, and decided to give it a try. From the very first workout I was hooked!
The results I've gotten from P90x are AMAZING and by FAR exceed my wildest expectations.
In my first round, I quickly dropped weight and inches and reclaimed my former muscle definition and improved from 0 to 32 pushups on my toes. I hadn't run in years, yet could comfortably run 4 miles.
My second round of p90x included Turbo Jam doubles. TJ is such fun and great for blasting away the fat! I leaned out and got back to the shape I was in as a gym rat - 15 years ago!
In the 3rd and 4th and 5th round, I targeted my trouble areas, with interval doubles (3 times a week) and a lower body focus. I showed my kids a picture from when I was in good shape 5 years ago and they both said my legs look better today!!! Nutrition is key and p90x provides the information to help you get leaner and feel great!
Between rounds, I love to shake things up with Shaun T, Turbo Jam - incredibly fun! The fun factor of Rockin Boday and HHA is off the charts - what a great compliment to the gym style of p90x. So many great BeachBody workouts to choose from!
Both kids have both done p90x and do it when they are home from college. My daughter is now doing Rockin Body :) My brother and 2 friends from my gym rat days in the 90s are now doing X!!
Beachbody has so much to offer, the wonderful people on the boards, I always look forward to see who will be in WOWY! The products are like none other and are allowing me to be in the best shape of my life; lean, toned, and ripped! Most importantly, I feel great!
Great shape (not just good shape) is the place to be! Thanks to P90x, I'm there!

LOVE ChaLean Extreme. The lower body focus (are results) are amazing! Half way through this rotation and couldn't be happier.
Several rounds of ChaLean extreme so happy with the results on my lower body..
Yikes! Someother focuses my weight is up 6 lbs over my normal weight.. time to clean up my eating and bring it with X
