If so, I would love to hear from you and help coach you along your journey! If you have any questions regarding your workout program or need any other training help feel free to contact me at jayhawk_2334@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you soon! I am 32 years young and a former sprinter in college who has always loved working out and that moved me to study exercise physiology. Previous to 2009, I had a stressful and depressing work life and I was in a horrible relationship - both pushed me to gain a few more pounds that what I ever wanted. I was also not being selfish enough and was putting all my effort into the job and crummy boyfriend and not myself. I looked in the mirror, of course the sun goddess here in a bikini didn't like what she saw! Being a role model in running a military fitness program, you have to look and act the part.
I have jumped back into cardio and keeping a food log every day. My goal is to get back down to a size 6, run a 1/2 marathon, and heck, even a master's track meet event!
My job now is great! I want to motivate our military members to do their best everyday to fulfill their job requirements and to lead a healthy life. I guess I forgot to take time out for myself. The most rewarding thing is seeing the individuals that I train succeed and surpass their goals....I am fast on the track to gaining that feeling back myself!
I also want to help YOU succeed and surpass all of your goals. Being a former college athlete and a job in fitness, I have a background in exercise physiology and hold many certifications. Success is not always easy, let's do this together!
If you have any questions or need any help, please email me!

I am a long way from being a college athlete now! After getting out of a highly stressful job and a depressed atmosphere, the cortisol levels and eating habits have returned to normal. Now, it's time to reverse 4 years of damage! When it was time to break out the bikini for the summer, I was disgusted with myself. I have never looked like this! I took my "fatty" beginning pictures and started the journey from there. I started out in my cardio phase, getting my body re-conditioned to exercise in general and increasing my endurance. I have been keeping a food log and exercise log and making all of my meals to go - which has really helped! So far, I have lost about 15 lbs 60 days into P90X....I would like to lose a few more and really tone up again. I love my job again and it is in a fun and relaxing atmosphere and I can say that I work with my friends. I am getting back into teaching aerobics classes, running (my biggest challenge!), and training military members who struggle with their fitness. I am almost done with P90X and have done it all the way through. What to start on next??
