I would label myself as a sports junky. Over the years I have participated in many competitive sports including running track at a Division I school in a top conference. Also, I enjoy skiing, tennis, basketball, car racing, racketball and playing with my kids.

I was never overweight, but wanted to get back into shape like when I was playing competitive sports. I needed to lose about 10 lbs

Wow. What a journey and I am happy to report I achieved my goal. I had to change my whole schedule so I can get a workout every day. I have a job where I travel a lot and to young children at home so finding time was difficult. I am not a morning workout person, but realized the only way to consistently get in a workout was to start at 6:00am before I go to work. Also, I would workout in hotel gyms with my laptop and watch the videos.
I have always been athletic competing in sports in high school and division I at the college level. I have run several marathons with my last one in 2007. Over the last 2 years I have struggled with a knee problem and I believe working out every day and the whole body workout of P90X was able to keep my injury free. At times I would have to modify slightly, but was able to complete the workouts.
I am really excited that I lost 3 ½ inches from my waist and a total of 11 pounds. I went from 3-4 pull-ups to 13. I could hardly even do a single wide pull-up and at the end I was able to do 7. So, I really got stronger throughout the program.
