I've never been extremely heavy, just a bit chubby. I was a skinny child, but always had a big sweet tooth, so when I hit puberty, I started gaining weight and was a bit big in high school. My senior year I was dating a guy who was rather active and thin, so it kept me on track and I dropped to 110 lbs by prom. (I'm 5'4") That was my thinnest and I stayed around 112-115 for a couple years, but then college happened and the weight started coming back. It was a slow progression. I was 120-124 for a while, so I was still thin, but then I dated a bigger guy and we went out to eat a lot and it added up. Before I knew it, I was 145, my heaviest ever. I started TJ in August '06 when a coworker recommended it and quit junk food cold turkey. I was very dedicated and worked out almost every day for 6 mo. I lost 20 lbs and a bunch of inches. Shortly after the holidays, I fell off the bandwagon and gained some of the weight back. I think this is largely because I stopped logging on here every day, so I didn't feel the support. However, now I'm more determined than ever. I'm doing the TJ challenge rotation with a combo of Hip Hop Abs. I haven't missed a day in over a month and I'm doing LA weight Loss. My goal is to get down between 115 and 120. I don't have that far to go, but the last pounds are the hardest. Here are my before and after pics. Hope this motivates somebody who feels that they can't do it because that's what I told myself for years. The before was taken last august on day 1 and the after was today. I still have a little way to go, but I'm happy.
