Newark, DE Hi! I am a 42 year old female originally from Phila Pa. I currently reside in Newark De. I am into a variety of fitness modes, however, I seem to be lacking focus within my diet. I cook for my family which consists of my sister and brother-in-law, along with their 2 children 12and 2. I usually do the majority of the cooking since I am disabled. Wow! Where do I begin. I have sustained several injuries. I broke both of my hips, torn my ACL, chipped my tibia, broke my toe, dislocated my trap and my wrist. Outside of that, my mental health is More ...
Wow! Where do I begin. I have sustained several injuries. I broke both of my hips, torn my ACL, chipped my tibia, broke my toe, dislocated my trap and my wrist. Outside of that, my mental health is strong, my spirit is high and I love life! I tell people all the time that..."Any day above ground is a great day!" I enjoy working out and will try ALMOST anything atleast once. I work out at the YMCA alteast 4-5 times a week. I am an assistant boxing coach. I want to be an example for my kids but, sometimes I feel like I am sabotaging myself though. I just can't seem to get my diet right. I lost 45 pounds only to have gained 20 back. I purchased p90x. Unfortulately, I have been in a funk due to some other internal situations, and have only used it once or twice. I know some of the moves are going to be challenging because of my extensive injury, however, I am giving myself a well needed affirmation to make a change! I don't get a lot of support with meals. I would love to become a personal trainer. I get a little intimidated because I want to be a true testiment to what you can still do although you have had injuries in your life.
