I have 3 kids. I work at Mayo clinic as an RN on the Pediatric floor, working
mostly days now after working straight nights for 7 years. I have completed
several sprint triathlons n the past few years. I love to be active, either working
out, hiking, biking, anything to keep me moving.

I am not in major need of losing weight, I am actually only a size 6 weighing
in at 125 pounds.
I am at that point where I have the last 10-15 pounds of weight that every
women would love
to finally lose. I started off at 140 when I realized nothing in my closet fit
and I wasn't willing
to buy any more clothes. I was going to get the weight off. So I started
playing soccer during
the summer and working out in the gym again. I lost the first 10 then started
training for my
first mini triathlon. During that fall a friend showed my P90 and the results
he had gotten from
the workout. So I decided why not and bought the videos that weekend. I
proceeded to take
off the next 7 pounds and dropped another pants size. After completing P90
I decided that
P90X would be the next best step.

I started the P90X workout program and loved it. There is nothing I love
better then a hard
heart pounding workout. But I only got to week 8 and stopped. Can't
remember why but I did
not get the ripped body I was hoping for. I did get quite toned and down to a
size 6 but I
wanted the ripped abs and toned thighs without the layer of fat on them. I
did start P90X
again the next fall but ended up hurting my back, regaining about 14 pounds
that I had originally lost doing P90 because I was unable to even ride my bike
for exercise much less do
P90.

Since that winter I restarted P90 to get in shape to restart P90X for the third
time, but once
again was unable to stay committed enough to complete the full 90 days or
get the ripped
body I was after. I did help me train for another mini triathlon in 2 weeks,
but I want the
ripped abs and toned thighs. I think that P90X requires me to go too heavy
and I eventually
start having pain issues in my neck, back, and shoulders making it too hard
to finish. I tried
doing Turbo Jam instead, but that just wasn't enough to finish off the last 10
pounds either. I
have been going to a gym and lifting weights, but that hasn't done anything
to get the extra fat
off either. Of course I can not just blame this on the work outs since I have a
hard time truly
sticking to the diet. I don't eat bad, people actually say I am a health nut and
eat rather
strange things, but my sweet tooth is very strong and my will power is very
weak. So I tend to
over eat sweets when they are any where near me. This is why I don't have
them in the house,
but they still find me. Plus I have a hard time resisting the onion rings and
fries when working
a night shift, thank God that I am no longer doing nights. I try to bring my
lunch to work to
prevent me from having to go to the cafeteria, but sometimes that doesn't
happen.

So once again I am embarking on a new work out program with Beachbody
and am hoping
that this time I will come out with the body I have longed for since I had my
son 17 years ago.
I bought the new ChaLEAN Extreme workout and am now in my second week
of the work out
and am loving it. The slow controlled movements with lighter weights (lighter
then I am used
to) is great for my back, neck, and shoulders. I am trying to stick with the diet
plan which will
be the biggest challenge for me. There are times when I don't plan ahead and
miss dinner and
instead eat 4 brownies at the meeting I am at. Not a good substitute for a
healthy meal. I
need support to get me through the next 10 weeks so that I follow the diet
and kick this
weight and extra fat good bye.

My main goal is to lose the extra 2 inches of fat on my thighs that make
buying pants very
painful. So now I am just trying to finish up the job that I have been trying
to do for the last
17 years since the birth of my son. It is hard, because I am not over weight,
my upper body is
very muscular and fit and all consider me skinny, but the size 22 inch thighs
do not go with
the rest of my body especially the 31 inch waist. This is what I don't know
how to slim down.
You can see the fat on the thighs and when I try to get pants it is near
impossible, because
most pants are made for women with skinny legs. I feel like I am complaining
when I don't
have a right, but I guess everybody has their body problems that nobody
really knows about
unless they live their lives. So here I am 4 years after buying P90 and still
trying to get the last
10 pounds and last few inches off. I am hoping that ChaLEAN Extreme is the
final answer for
me. I will work to keep my diet in check and will keep pushing play everyday
and in 10 weeks
will see where I am at. Wish me luck.
