Hi! My name is Candy...It's the typical story, "I used to be in such great shape!" And by so many standards, I am still in great shape, but for me, I really want to get back to the shape I know I can be in. Why do I hold my standards so high? I think because I realize that on a daily basis I am constantly sabotaging my own efforts. After I had my 2 beautiful but demanding daughters, I have had no goals for myself. As a lifetime runner, I rarely run anymore. I find that my energy levels are really in the dumps and more and more, I just want to sleep. The huge kicker is...get this...I'm a personal trainer! I know what to do, I tell people all the time what to do, but I don't practice what I preach! I need a goal for myself, and I need support. I really, am just like my clients!

The clincher came for me just a few weeks ago when I was looking for a rubber band to "tie" my jeans together. You know, when you're pregnant, you use that little trick to keep the button from sticking out. Well, I never bought any new jeans after my daughters were born (they are 3 and 5!) and I am still using the trick since I can't button my jeans. My 5 year old asked me what I was doing and I explained it...and she simply replied, "No Mommy, it's because you are fat!". Wow...so of course, I immediately went out and bought new jeans first, then I decided to get with P90X...and look for support to help me gt back into the kick butt shape that I know I can be in...once again!
