I started struggling with my weight shortly after high school. When I got pregnant with my first child at 24, I gained 50 lbs. I was able to lose over 70 lbs. But two more pregnancies, 50 and 60 lbs gained each and not much lost in between- I was miserable.
I started running, which did wonders for my body and soul, and was on my way to getting back to where I wanted to be. But then life again got in the way, and with three kids, a husband that works on the road, and owning a small business- I gained it all back again. Pursuing a nursing degree, I'm learning so much about the body, and finally it all clicked- I'm not healthy, and I need to change that before it's too late. So here I am!
